THE ASCENT PROJECT

The extension of the ASCENT project, also known as ASCENT DR-TB project, is dedicated to leveraging the knowledge and expertise of consortium partners and global forums to rethink optimal care for TB. It will do so by creating conditions for accelerating the adoption of safer and more effective treatments for people with RR/MDR-TB. The current approach empowers people affected with DR-TB to successfully complete their treatment, boosting its original goal to lower the impact of TB by decreasing cases, deaths, and financial burdens.
