The ASCENT DR-TB Partner Yayasan KNCV Indonesia (YKI) created a series of job aids (flip charts) to support healthcare workers on active drug-safety management and monitoring (aDSM), and drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) screening and management in Bahasa language.

These are training materials that YKI has developed to support frontline health workers in the management of DR-TB. The materials cover:

• DR-TB screening and treatment, and
• early detection and management of drug side effects.

YKI takes an important role in strengthening and building the capacity of the healthcare workers in the region for the management of DR-TB following the latest guidelines. To enhance the quality of DR-TB care, printed copies have been distributed to 45 ASCENT DR-TB intervention facilities in 3 districts in South Sulawesi Province. These collaborative efforts support the local, national and global End TB strategies.
